About
A lifelong Floridian and Gulf High School salutatorian, Richard C. Williams Jr. has practiced law in downtown New Port Richey for over four decades, returning to Florida in 1979 after completing his legal education in New York.
Education
Richard graduated magna cum laude from Davidson College and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. He earned his Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law in 1979, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems. He went on to clerk for Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Arthur J. England Jr.
Professional Experience
Richard began his legal career at Beasley, Olle & Soto in Miami. He later served as City Attorney and practiced at Williams & Williams from 1983 to 1996, before founding Richard C. Williams, Jr., P.A. in 1996. He is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Mediator and has been board certified in wills, trusts, and estates since 2007.
